Adding a Podcast to theday.com#

NOTE: This only applies to adding an already-created podcast to the website via NCS Content. It does not cover creation of or editing of audio for podcasts.

1) Get the podcast ID from Podbean. Example: if the share episode link is https://www.podbean.com/ew/pb-ze35w-1022460 the ID we need is ze35w-1022460

2) Create a new story in NCS

• Category = WEB podcast
• Paywall = None
• Article design = B Podcast
• Podcast =
• Taxonomy: add "Podcasts" and the name of the podcast
• enter Headline, Netheader, Summary, Body Text and Byline
• publish your story. No need to add an asset

Select the Podcast B design class from the Article design dropdown.

Add the podcast ID to the Podcast field.

Add the relevant 'podcasts' taxonomy to the podcast article.
